Squarespace questions
Code Injection needs a Squarespace Business plan or above, which is the same requirement as Google Analytics or a Facebook pixel. On a Personal plan there is no way to add any third-party script, ours included.
No. The script is about 6KB and loads after your page, so it has nothing to do with how fast your content appears. The chat panel itself is only fetched when a visitor actually clicks the button, so most people never download it at all.
Yes. The chat button and panel render in isolation from your page's own styles, so your theme cannot break them and they cannot break your theme. You choose the colour, which side it sits on, and whether it wears your logo.
Delete the line of code. It is gone from your site immediately, with nothing installed to uninstall and no change to your site to undo.
